Two sisters planted a tree...
Sowed their seed in 1943
Wanting better for women and education
Leaning on God's promise, they stood on motivation
Strength, dedication and dignity they did proclaim
Peace and Harmony the motto...Refinement and culture the aim
This tree marked the beginning of a story
That has grown into a legacy...to GOD and GAMMA be the glory
We are the fruits of faith grown from a single seed
Baby Blue and Baby Pink is the blood we bleed
Giving to those in need, our purpose forever sustains
This is not just an organization...GAMMA flows through our veins
So the next time someone asks you what makes you the best
Turn to them and say..I am UNIQUE among the rest
And if they still proceed to ask you why..
Throw your head back and shout ...GGGGGGGGGPHIIIIII!!!!

Becoming a Soror of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated will be rewarding in various aspects:

Sisterhood: “Chance made us sisters, choice made us girlfriends.” The genuine sisterhood that is formed within the sorority is something that Gamma Phi Delta prides itself in. Not only do you create everlasting bonds with women in the chapter, but also with women nationally. Forming this type of connection is something that is very beneficial to your collegiate career.

Professional Development: Throughout the recruitment process you will be provided with the necessary education and training to maintain a professional image. Gamma Phi Delta will assist with your individual skills and abilities to pursue your personal career goals. Lastly, you will learn how to transition from the collegiate life to the vast world of business.

Networking: With Sorors from various majors and careers, you will be sure to find someone to guide you with your career aspirations. Within the chapter we have many majors such as: Pre-Clinical/Nursing, Health Services Administration, Pre-Law/ Legal Studies, Accounting and Finance, and Event Management/Planning amongst others. Within our graduate chapters there are connections in Darden Restaurants, Quest Diagnostics, United States Army Mortuary Directors, Cardiac and Pediatric Nurses, Lockheed Martin Engineering Firm, and Orange County School Board to list a few. There is obviously something available to suit all tastes.

Personal Growth: Perhaps the most important realization that an individual can make is their quest for personal growth in that there is no single formula that defines the path to personal success. As human beings we all have different strengths and weakness and with the support of a true sisterhood you learn to realize your self-knowledge, self- reflection, and self- value throughout the recruitment process.

Community Involvement: Gamma Phi Delta Sorority’s community involvement is to positively impact the communities where we live and work. We do this by building relationships, inspiring philanthropy, and promoting goodwill both inside and outside the sorority.
